A BIG GREEN SUNDAY! - June 14th

Hi everyone!
This Sunday the Green Team has a lot of great things going on. Whoohoo!

FIRST= Green Team Meeting THIS Sun. (June 14th) at 10a.m. up in the church office conference room.

What will be going over:
Exchange for Change
Green Team Structure (Task Managers)
Bike to Church
Empty Lot/Tree Maintenance -1in5
Recycling Program (People are NOT actually doing it, when scheduled.)
Etc..
AND a light breakfast will be provided (BIG plus!)

SECOND= Bike to Church Day! (This Sunday as well!)

Where ever you live in Los Angeles give it a shot! Let's help our church with parking and the environment by leaving our cars at home. Bike to church! Then join us after for a group ride to Plummer Park (around a 2 mile ride) where we can eat lunch and enjoy frisbee, tennis, games, or whatever floats your boat. Fun, exercise, community, and no cars...what could be better!

Things to remember:
-Wear a helmet

-Pack a lunch and bring plenty of water
-Consider a public transportation route for getting home (if you get too tired).
-Bring a frisbee, boce ball, or any fun outdoor games for the picnic.
-Please encourage others to join you in your bike ride. It will make your ride more fun and safe!
